- TECH SHIELD
is an Ethylene Propylene Dimonomer, (EPDM) elastomeric
rubber coating composed of hydrocarbons with synthetic
resin tackifiers. It may be sprayed or brushed on any
surface that is dry and clean.
TECH SHIELD
is used primarily to waterproof and insulate against
corrosive environments and atmospheres.
TECH SHIELD
prevents rusting and oxidation on all materials. It is
effective on woods, composite boards, plastics, metals,
fabrics, all painted and unpainted surfaces and
electrical and electronic equipment. It is totally
resistant to acids, brine, caustics, chlorine, alcohol,
water, acid rain, mildew and hostile environments.
Allows material substitution of steel fasteners vs.
stainless steel.

- APPLICATIONS
INDUSTRIAL - CHEMICAL - MUNICIPAL
Protects instruments and valve housings, guy wires,
conformal coating of electrical connections, P.C.
Boards, and terminals; waterproofs and increases life of
unpainted and painted surfaces, increases surface
adhesion, protects mechanical equipment, bolts, pipe
hangers, brackets, motor windings, pump housings, cement
casements, fork lifts, battery terminals, all support
beams, stanchions and machinery. Effective in
maintaining surfaces in Locker washrooms and lavatories.
Provides adhesion for slippery surfaces, allows use of
less costly materials of construction. Replaces pipe
dope and sealant tapes for metal and plastic threaded
pipe connections and fittings.
MARINE
Deck pumps and pipes, fittings and hatch covers.
Protects electrical and electronic equipment. Effective
in all similar applications found in the industrial
climate.
HOME / RECREATION
Sailing, powerboats, masts, battery terminals, all
electrical wiring and terminations, waterproofs and
protects metals, wood and all fabric surfaces, prevents
bleeding and wood rot. Rustproofs automobiles,
motorcycles and campers. Protects metal screens. May be
used as an undercoat or overcoat on painted surface
areas. Waterproofs shoes, golf clubs, grips and
equipment, clothing, tents, canvas, lighting
receptacles, wallboard, ply board, composites and
plasterboard. Slip-proofs swimming pool areas.
APPLICATION
PROCEDURE
Make sure surface is clean and dry. Shake can 10 times;
after the balls move freely, spray approximately 15
Inches from surface to be treated. Allow 15 minutes to
dry before handling.
If second coat is required, wait 24 hours.

- Turn can upside down and spray to clean nozzle after
each use. If nozzle becomes plugged, soak in mineral
spirits and re-open with a small fine wire.

- Bulk cans should be thoroughly agitated. Coatings are
solvent removable.
